NODOS

The MICRONANOFABS Network is distributed along the following nodes:

The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM) is the headquarters of the National Microelectronics Centre.

The Institute of Optoelectronic Systems and Microtechnology (ISOM) is a research university institute linked to the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM)

The Nanophotonics Technology Center of Valencia (NTC) is a Research Institute which belongs to the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV).

The three nodes have special characteristics and complementary research lines mainly in the field of Micro and Nanotechnology, Nanoscience, Photonics and device and material characterization. To perform this activity, the three nodes have high standard facilities that are offered to potential users through the distributed ICTS.

Two nodes of the new MICRONANOFABS network (ISOM and CNM-CSIC) were already ICTS units in the previous national ICTS map. They both bring their experience to the new Distributed Network increasing the added value of the whole. Together, they will provide, as a main advantage, a bigger number of technologies for the benefit of the scientific and industrial community.

The MICRONANOFABS Network makes a global technology offer and operates in a distributed manner. Hiring the network services grants a global access to the facilities provided by each of the three nodes (combined access to technologies or facilities of two or more nodes) or as a unit (access to technologies and /or facilities of a single node).
